Common questions

How do I change my city?

Tap the city name in the top-left corner of the Chat screen, or tap the location icon. Select your new city from the list.

Why are some events missing prices?

Some event organizers don't publish pricing in advance. When the price isn't available, we show "Price TBA". Check the ticket link for the most up-to-date pricing.

How do I delete my data?

On Android, open You and choose Delete account. On iPhone, open Profile, then Privacy & data or Account & security. If you cannot access the app, follow the steps on the account deletion page.

How do I manage privacy choices?

Precise location: change Dizko location access in iOS Settings at any time. The Android app does not request device location.
City and preferences: update your city, genres, vibes, saved events, RSVPs, and hidden events in the app.
Phone, email, profile, and avatar: add, edit, or remove optional profile details from Profile where those controls are available.
AI discovery chat: do not send prompts if you do not want them processed by the app's AI provider.
Private messages: message text and event notes are encrypted on your device. Notifications do not include message text.

How often are events updated?

Our event database refreshes regularly. New events are added automatically from Resident Advisor, Dice, Eventbrite, and local sources.

Found a bug? Please email support with:

What you were doing when the issue occurred
What you expected to happen
What actually happened
Your device model and operating system version

Safety Reports

To report a profile, message, event listing, uploaded image, or other safety concern, use the in-app report/block controls when available or email support. Include the username, event, screenshot, and a short description of the issue if you can.

Copyright Complaints

If material on Dizko infringes your copyright, our designated copyright agent is at legal@dizko.app. The Copyright and DMCA page has the agent's full details, what a valid notice must contain, and how to send a counter-notice if your content was removed by mistake. Copyright notices sent to support are slower, because they have to be forwarded to the agent.
