Exposição ‘Colectivo Acciones de Arte: democracia radical’

Colectivo Acciones de Arte at MASP, Monday 8pm, free entry. The Chilean collective that worked under the Pinochet dictatorship gets its first major South American retrospective at the São Paulo museum, a survey of the radical-democracy art practice that pushed Latin American conceptualism into the eighties. MASP's Avenida Paulista building is the right scale for the political weight of the work. The free Monday programming has been one of the museum's best decisions of the last decade. Allow ninety minutes. Bring a friend who can argue with you afterward.
